Church or Civil Wedding

Will you be getting married in a local church or would you prefer a civil ceremony?

If you are looking for a civil wedding then Davenport Green Hall is licensed to hold your ceremony. We will reserve a private room for the bride so that they can meet the registrars without your guests seeing the dress! (Civil Room Hire £750.00)

Once your married, then it’s time for those all important photographs. While you and your spouse are wandering around our private grounds having your pictures taken, your guests will be enjoying a little drink and even a canapé to keep the hunger at bay! Why not add a little difference and offer mini afternoon tea and pink Champagne, with some jazz music being played in the back ground?

Would you like a Receiving Line?

Would you prefer a traditional receiving line with all the family or simply one with the bride and groom?

Speeches?

There are no longer any rules with regards to speeches they can take place after your Wedding Breakfast and before the cake cutting. You may even prefer to have them before your meal so that everyone can sit back and relax – the choice is entirely yours!

Wedding Breakfast

Drink and be Merry

We have designed two drinks packages for you, but every wedding is bespoke so please refer to the wine and toast drinks packages for suggestions for you to choose from. (Link to beverages)

Evening Reception

There is normally a short break after the wedding breakfast and before the evening reception, only half an hour or so… so we will let you know where your guests will be but normally it’s at the bar!

Your evening entertainment is now set up and the music begins, with dancing until midnight. Don’t forget to feed your guests an evening buffet to soak up some of that alcohol! (Link to menus)
